On December 3, Mike and Debbie Sipe hosted an appreciation dinner for the dojo with a dinner in their lovely home in Auburn.  Seven students and their spouses enjoyed a Mexican dinner and an evening of conversation.  The meal was a thank you to the dojo for all of the work done putting on the recent Karatefest but was also an opportunity for the students to interact in a social atmosphere.  The evening was a resounding success with requests for such events to occur more often.
